Please note: This set does not contain any loading bridges, order them separately.
End section of a tank car loading rack. This platform is designed to accomodate the loading bridges mentioned below.
This platform is long enough for 2 tank cars on each side. The platform is designed to connect to the other end section which is almost the same.
Tank car loading rack in N Scale. This platform is long enough for 2 tank cars on each side. The walkway is 30mm above ground level. The platform has stairs on both sides, pipes below the platform to connect hoses or other loading systems on top of the platform and a cable tray that goes just below the top truss.
Almost no assembly required! The platform, railings and pipes were all designed to be very thin and are all part of the main structure (i.e. they need each other for maximum strength). That's supposed to make it as realistic as possible, but it also means you have to handle this model with respect. Normal handling is no problem, just don't drop it and don't use a vice or strong clamps etc. All other parts can easily be painted.
This platform is designed to accomodate the loading bridges found in my Loading/Unloading section, you need either 2 or 4 bridges depending on wether this rack stands next to one or between 2 tracks.
If you would like to simulate a loading system, please have a look at my fuel cranes for this platform.
